Singapore shared craft booths: count vendors and brands before splitting the fee
A larger table or one payer does not establish room for another seller. Record the permitted brands, representative, disclosure and shared footprint before booking.

Start with these checks
- The actual organiser’s vendor or brand ceiling and shared-booth route
- Each selling vendor identified separately from helpers and visitors
- Representative and other vendor information handled as required
The problem
You and other craft makers want to split a Singapore market booth, but do not know whether its limit counts people, brands or payments, or which maker must register the other seller.
Count the permitted sellers before dividing the price
Start with the organiser’s unit: a booth can be shared without admitting an unlimited number of sellers. In the FAQs checked on 9 October 2026, Curbside Crafters caps a retail table booth at two vendors, equated to two brands, regardless of booth size. The Jurong Play Grounds FAQ checked on that date also permits at most two vendors to share. Neither statement turns a larger display surface or one combined payment into permission for a third selling brand. Identify every maker or business intending to sell under the booking before calculating a private split. A helper’s presence and another brand’s products are different questions; ask the organiser how your actual arrangement is classified.
Keep a vendor roster separate from the staffing plan
Use one row per proposed seller: vendor or brand name; products and making process; person representing that seller; organiser-required information; and current registration state. Then make a separate staff list showing who will help and when. Two people staffing three independent brands still presents three proposed brands under a brand-based rule. Conversely, an approved seller may have a helper whose admission and work conditions need their own answer. Do not relabel an independent seller as a helper merely to fit the count. Describe the real arrangement and retain the organiser’s applicable response. Product fit and seller eligibility remain separate from a shared-booth ceiling.
Assign registration and payment without hiding the second vendor
Jurong’s FAQ gives one vendor the representative role for registration and payment and requires disclosure of the non-representative vendor’s information. It requires full payment at purchase; splitting the cost is left to the sharing vendors. Follow that actual route rather than assuming the payer’s details alone complete both sellers’ registration. Agree which maker supplies the required information, checks the booking and contacts the organiser about a change. Share each vendor’s details through the authorised route rather than posting private identifiers publicly. A personal agreement to reimburse the representative is an internal arrangement; it does not change the organiser’s payment requirement or add another vendor.
Rehearse one footprint for both selling tasks
The Jurong shared-booth conditions leave the allocated space unchanged. Draw that actual footprint once, then place both permitted displays, stock and packing tasks within it. Rehearse setup, selling and packing for both makers inside that single outline. Ask about any essential supplied furniture, access, power or storage condition. A larger product range can create a packing conflict without increasing the permitted footprint. Buying an extra rack or relying on a clear-looking aisle does not establish an extension. Keep the vendors’ own staffing and sales work with them unless the organiser expressly offers another arrangement; a shared booth is not automatically consignment.
Test a fictional three-brand plan
This group and every offer are invented. Three independent brands want to share a table, while only two makers can attend. Their cost sheet divides the fee three ways and proposes a larger table. Under an invented rule of at most two selling brands regardless of table size, neither two attending people nor the larger surface solves the three-brand mismatch. They must change the proposed selling group or investigate another expressly permitted arrangement. In a second fictional case, two vendors fit the ceiling, but only the payer’s name has been submitted where the other seller must be disclosed. The count fits while registration remains incomplete. Send the required second-vendor information through the actual process; do not treat the private split as its substitute.
Record a changed seller as a changed arrangement
Before adding another brand, replacing a vendor or changing the products, compare the proposal with the organiser’s current accepted record and relevant conditions. Ask which amendment route applies and retain the actual outcome. A friend bringing a few pieces for sale can change the vendor question even if the booth furniture stays the same. Keep visitor tickets separate from the commercial sellers and space recorded here. If another operator would hold and sell your goods, ask about a consignment arrangement. That different arrangement needs its own stock, payment and responsibility terms rather than borrowing this booth’s permission.
Find seller learning and verify the vendor route separately
Use Boardzip’s free craft-market search to find current markets or maker discussions, then identify whether you would attend, learn or apply as a vendor. For a learning session, confirm it permits a shared-booth planning question. Bring a fictional vendor roster and footprint, not another maker’s private quote or customer records. For selling, use the actual organiser’s vendor route and confirm the group, products, space and terms. The Jurong FAQ supplies a policy example and its page showed no products to book at the 9 October 2026 source check. If no suitable vendor opportunity is established, keep the specific enquiry instead of treating a visitor listing or private cost split as a confirmed stall.
Questions and answers
Does a larger booth let three independent brands share?
Check the organiser’s actual unit and ceiling. The Curbside FAQ checked on 9 October 2026 describes two vendors or brands regardless of booth size. More surface does not itself increase that permission.
Does only the paying maker need to be named?
The Jurong FAQ checked on 9 October 2026 requires a representative for registration and full payment and disclosure of the other vendor’s information. Follow the selected organiser’s actual process; one payer is not evidence that every seller is registered.
Is a helper another vendor?
Describe what that person and any separate brand would actually do and ask how the organiser classifies them. Do not infer the answer from headcount or call an independent seller a helper merely to fit a ceiling.
Does sharing give each maker a complete booth footprint?
Jurong states that the allocated space stays the same. Rehearse both selling tasks inside the actual shared footprint and confirm any extension through the organiser rather than assuming it.
